Injured boy airlifted from middle school to hospital


A teenage boy was injured at West Ridge Middle School was airlifted Tuesday afternoon to Dell Children’s Medical Center, Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said.

EMS Capt. Rick Rutledge said the boy had serious but not life-threatening injuries. Medics were dispatched to the school west of Austin in the Eanes school district around 3:58 p.m.
