The second weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, a more relaxed and mellow affair for bands, crews and music fans alike since they knew what was coming, had only one wrench: the weather. But the threat of rain — and accompanying high humidity — throughout Friday and Saturday didn’t stop most from dressing in their festival best.
Fest staples of loose tops, shorts and sandals or boots were spotted alongside the wackier garb that some fest-goers prefer, from unusually colored hair, as local Robert Parsons had, or chevron-printed pants, a choice Emily Snider didn’t regret because they were baggy enough to offset the heat.
