Bryan Poyser doesn’t want to make audiences uncomfortable anymore. Well, at least not this time around. Not with his South by Southwest entry “The Bounceback,” a broad ensemble comedy about two turbulent relationships in search of footing.
The approach is a bit of a departure for the longtime Austinite, whose previous films challenged audiences with their bleak humor and sexual content.
