Now that Geoff Marslett and Lauren Modery’s movie is in the can, some of their friends can admit it: They were a little nervous about the couple embarking on a screenplay together.
But outside of the typical filmmaking obstacles, which are never inconsequential, Modery and Marslett didn’t endure any added strife in writing their first screenplay together. Their movie, “Loves Her Gun,” made its world premiere at South by Southwest on Saturday night and screens again Friday afternoon at the Topfer Theatre at Zach.
