Earlier this month, a handful of local bartenders gathered at the Swoop House for a laid-back summer sangrita competition.
Sponsored by Tequila Ocho, the friendly battle featured seven bartenders from places including Whisler’s (with not one, but three bartenders representing), Jeffrey’s, Qui and the Four Seasons. The quest? To craft a delicious sangrita that would pair well with one of the brand’s tequilas (plata, reposado, anejo).
