With a new name and a bold new exhibition plan, the museum formerly known as AMOA-Arthouse on Thursday makes official its new direction.
Beginning Thursday, the two-venue museum — which includes the historic 12-acre lakeside Laguna Gloria and the Jones Center, the Congress Avenue arts center — will now be known as the Contemporary Austin, said executive director Louis Grachos.
