A new December summit focused on issues facing women and girls will be formally announced Monday night.
TEDxAustinWomen, scheduled for Dec. 5, will build off the success of TEDxAustin, which has been growing here since it launched in 2011. But the heads of the new event, primarily Austin expatriates who have returned home, promise it will be more surprising and entertaining than any event like it Austin has seen before.
