Video game maker Zynga Inc. laid off dozens of employees in Austin and Dallas this month, documents filed with the state show.
In letters sent to the Texas Workforce Commission, the company responsible for games such as “Words With Friends,” said it was laying off 34 employees in Austin and was closing its Dallas area office, eliminating 62 jobs. Most of the layoffs were effective June 3.
