Two national builders have purchased more than 2,000 acres in Leander, with plans to build about 2,900 homes in a swiftly growing part of the region.
Taylor Morrison, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers are calling the planned subdivision Travisso. It will be built on 2,145 acres adjacent to Crystal Falls, one of the top-selling master-planned communities in Central Texas in recent years, and where Taylor Morrison has built about 200 homes to date.
