A South Korean conglomerate has invested more money in Austin-based solar energy company HelioVolt Corp. for a commercial expansion.
SK Group, whose holdings include South Korea’s largest refiner, announced an additional investment in HelioVolt in a news release this week, without giving the amount of the investment. But in a filing Friday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, HelioVolt said it had raised $9.5 million.
