Austin-area sales of new vehicle rose more than 13 percent in April, continuing a strong start to the year for Central Texas dealers, according to an industry tracking report.
Area dealers sold 10,442 new vehicles in April, compared with 9,184 in the same month last year, according to Freeman Auto Report, a Dallas-based company that tracks new vehicle registrations. The report tracked sales in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet, Blanco and Caldwell counties.
