Halfway through the year, the Central Texas housing market still looks very strong.
January through June home sales in the Austin area are up 19 percent over the same period last year, the Austin Board of Realtors said Monday. The area’s median home price also pushed higher amid ongoing demand for housing and a low supply of available properties, the Board of Realtors said.
