Pressure rises to pull parkland as options for MLS stadium in Austin

UPDATE: Traffic reopened on RM 620 after crash, one man hospitalized


2:45 p.m.: Both lanes of southbound traffic on RM 620 have been reopened after a two vehicle collision at the intersection with Flintrock Trace, according to the Lakeway police department. One adult male patient was transported by Austin/Travis County Emergency Medical Services to a St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, according to Lake Travis Fire Rescue officials. ATCEMS officials report the man has potentially serious injuries.

1:55 p.m.: A major collision on RM 620 in the 3000 block of Flintrock Trace has shut down the southbound lanes of traffic, according to the Lakeway Police Department and the Austin Fire Department. Lakeway police officials say there are two vehicles involved. The fire department reports a potential traffic injury.

Lakeway police advise drivers to avoid the area if possible. The call came in at 1:30 p.m. according to the Austin Fire Department.
