Austin police are investigating a crash involving a school bus in Northeast Austin.

Lt. Brian Gretzner said officers were called out to the crash on Parmer Lane near U.S. 290 just after 6 a.m.

A preliminary investigation indicated the school bus was rear-ended by another vehicle.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services spokesman Capt. Darren Noak said two students were on the bus at the time of the crash, along with the driver.
