Wednesday, Aug. 2

KUTX Live Jazz Series and Aperol Happy Hour at Juliet, 7 p.m. Juliet Italian Kitchen is offering an extended happy hour with Aperol cocktails while musician Collin Shook performs live jazz.

Thursday, Aug. 3

Head-to-Head Battle for National IPA Day, 11 a.m. Easy Tiger is extending its Thursday summer flight night to two days in honor of IPA Day and will have several hoppy beers to try.

National IPA Day at Lavaca Street Bar, 11 a.m. The South Lamar location will have several IPAs on tap, including Real Ale Axis, Stone Tangerine Express and more. 

Augtoberfest at Dell Diamond, 7:05 p.m. Start off the Round Rock Express game with an Express-themed beer stein and a tasting of beers from Brown Distributing.

Friday, Aug. 4

First Friday at Infinite Monkey Theorem, 4 to 11 p.m. In these dog days of August, seek respite with $5 wine slushies, live music and a silent disco starting at 9 p.m.

Circle Brewing Falkor Beer Release Party, 5 to 10 p.m. Circle Brewing’s newest seasonal release, Falkor Experimental Wheat, debuts with a screening of “The NeverEnding Story.”

W Austin’s Rewind: Red Fez Pop-Up, 5 p.m. The W’s Living Room Lounge will have 1990s drink prices in celebration of this one-night-only return of Matt Luckie’s Warehouse District bar.

Saturday, Aug. 5

Banger’s 5th Year Anniversary Party & Beer Festival, 11 a.m. Celebrate five action-packed years with 96 ridiculously good beers, three whole pigs cooked three ways and a puppy petting zoo.

First Saturday at Independence Brewing, 1 to 7 p.m. Enjoy a pint while listening to an Austin Music Foundation showcase, with a portion of taproom sales benefiting the organization.

Peach Beers at Whip In, 4 p.m. Get peachy with this special tapping of limited peach beers, perfect for summer, including Friends & Allies’ Impeach, Brazos Valley’s Millions of Peaches and more.

Sunday, Aug. 6

Texas Lambic Fest, 12 to 5 p.m. Celebrate some of Belgium’s finest beers at this tasting. The $15 tickets include admission and a commemorative glass.

Monday, Aug. 7

Get Spritz-Faced! Aperol Spritz Social at Backbeat, 4 p.m. Cool off with $10 spritzes and complimentary bites each Monday in August.

Wednesday, Aug. 9

5-Course Beer Dinner with Whitestone Brewery, 7 to 10 p.m. The Cedar Park restaurant Foxhole Culinary Tavern is teaming up with the Cedar Park brewery for a feast of meats and brews. $65.

Celis Bottle Launch, 7 p.m. Stop by the Whip In to pick up a six-pack of bottles of one of three newly packaged Celis beers (the White, the Pale Bock and the Celis Grandis IPA) and meet third generation brewer Daytona Camps.

Thursday, Aug. 10

Summer Flight Night: Deschutes, 5 p.m. Easy Tiger is hosting a $10 flight night featuring beers from Oregon’s renowned Deschutes Brewing, including the Passion Fruit IPA.

Treaty Oak Dinner Preview Series, 7 p.m. Treaty Oak Brewing & Distilling is debuting a new dinner series in advance of the on-site restaurant’s full launch in October. $65.

Friday, Aug. 11

Oskar Blues Hotbox Coffee Porter Release Party, 4:20 p.m. Come in for a happy hour tour of the brewery and learn the history behind Hotbox Roasters, Oskar Blues’ coffee brand. Plus, enjoy live music from Jai Malano starting at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 12

Waller Creek Pub House’s Third Annual Grand Opening, 12 p.m. Otherwise known as its anniversary party, the pub will have live music, a special beer list and a whole-hog roast.

Sunday, Aug. 13

The Austin Winery Wine Dinner at Greenhouse Craft Food, 6:30 p.m. The Round Rock restaurant is venturing into wine for its booze pairing dinner series with varietals from South Austin’s urban winery. $64.12.

Tuesday, Aug. 15

Eberly’s Cantina Della Volta Wine Dinner, 6:30 p.m. This special wine dinner hosted in collaboration with Italy’s famed winery, Cantina Della Volta, will spread the love of Lambrusco. $65.

Wednesday, Aug. 16

Agave Madness at Irene’s, 5 p.m. Discover the wonders of Astral Tequila (now repped by the Most Interesting Man in the World) and Sombra Mezcal.

Prairie Bomb! Pint Night, 7 p.m. Try the Prairie Bomb we all know and love; then, try it deconstructed, with the coffee, vanilla, chocolate and chilis all separated into their own Bomb beers.

Thursday, Aug. 17

Cover 3’s Sippin’ with the Somm, 6:30 p.m. Enjoy wines from the Vintage Wine Estates at this summer wine pairing event with Cover 3 Executive Chef Kirk Doyle’s five-course feast. $80. 

Summer Shindig at Live Oak Brewing, 6:30 p.m. Head to the beer garden and taproom for a movie night, food from Texas Chili Queens, a drag show and beer, of course. Proceeds benefit area nonprofits. $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Saturday, Aug. 19

Fall Creek Vineyards’ 28th Annual Grape Stomp & Harvest Festival, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stomp the grapes from this year’s harvest along with myriad other activities at the Tow winery. 

Grape Punch at William Chris Vineyards, 12 and 1:30 p.m. Learn the ins and outs of the grape harvest at this hands-on seminar, which also takes place on Aug. 20. $25.

Taste German Wines with Master Sommelier June Rodil, 12 to 3 p.m. The Austin Wine Merchant is hosting a tasting of several Rieslings, pinots, rosés and more. 

Pitties and Beer Party, 6 p.m. Austin pit bull rescue organization Love-A-Bull is throwing a party at Oskar Blues with giant jenga, corn hole, live music and beer, of course.

Sunday, Aug. 20

Rosé Day at Easy Tiger, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sip rosé all day with flights of both American and French offerings, wines by the glass and special food pairings.

Tuesday, Aug. 22

Tarot & Tequila Tuesday at Irene’s, 6 p.m. Get your fortune read while sipping on Tequila Tuesday specials like $5 Tequila Grapefruit Punch.

Wednesday, Aug. 23

Batch Kolaches and Pinthouse Pizza Party, 6 p.m. Enjoy Pinthouse Pizza in kolache form, along with some of the brewpub’s best beers, including Electric Jellyfish IPA, at the newly opened Batch.

Thursday, Aug. 24

Cuvee Coffee Bar’s 3-Year Anniversary Fair, 6 p.m. Celebrate the bar’s birthday with a dunk tank, grub from the Mighty Cone food truck, special local beers and fair games.

Thinkery21: Come and Make It, 7 to 10 p.m. Grab a cocktail and a glue gun at this 21 and up DIY night where you’ll learn how to make salsa, music, homebrew and more. $22-$25.

Saturday, Aug. 26

Rentsch Brewery’s Two-Year Anniversary Party, 11 a.m. Georgetown’s only brewery is celebrating its birthday with the debut of its cans and an Oktoberfest beer.

Fall Creek Vineyards’ Grape Stomp Boat Cruise, 3:15 p.m. Take a relaxing trip around Lake Buchanan to Fall Creek Falls while winery co-owner Ed Auler will lead guests on a history of the family ranch. $16.

Sunday, Aug. 27

Meet Hops & Grain’s Zoe at Yard Bar, 11 a.m. No, not the beer — the dog that inspired it all. Meet brewery founder Josh Hare’s beloved Zoe and sample some Hops & Grain brews, including Pale Dog Pale Ale.

Monday, Aug. 28

Rum Class at Parkside, 6:30 p.m. Before there was ever bourbon, colonial America was getting tipsy off rum. Learn about the histories and flavor profiles of this versatile Caribbean spirit at Parkside. $32.50.

Wednesday, Aug. 30

Rosé Party! at Italic, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Your ticket gets you still and sparkling rosés by the glass and Aperol Spritzes from the Spritz Station — because what better way is there to bid adieu to summer? $12 online, $15 at the door.

Thursday, Aug. 31
