Friday-Thursday: ACL Fest Late Night Shows. Even those not going to Zilker Park can catch some of the bands playing the Austin City Limits Music Festival at more than two dozen official late-night shows at a handful of local venues. Tickets are sold out for some shows, including Run the Jewels and Portugal the Man at Stubb’s, Car Seat Headrest at the Mohawk, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real at Antone’s and Rufus du Sol at Vulcan Gas Company. But plenty of good options remain, including Benjamin Booker at the Parish (Friday, $18); Thundercat at Scoot Inn (Saturday, $18); Missio at Antone’s (Saturday, $16-$18); Vulfpeck at Emo’s (Monday-Tuesday, $25), Oh Wonder at Stubb’s (Wednesday, $25-$27) and Muna at the Parish (Thursday, $16). Full list of shows at c3concerts.com/latenight. — P.B.

Friday: KUTX Live at the Four Seasons. Austin’s public radio affiliate returns to the Four Seasons for a morning broadcast featuring ACL Fest artists. The broadcast is headlined by soulful rocker Benjamin Booker and includes 30-minute sets from Hamilton Leithauser, Valerie June and Annabelle Chairlegs. Admission also includes a breakfast taco, a Kind bar and bottomless coffee. Proceeds benefit the Seton Shivers Cancer Center. $10 (cash only). Kids ages 3-10 are $5, kids 2 and younger are free. 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 98 San Jacinto Blvd. kutx.org/live-events. — D.S.S.

Saturday: Whitney Rose at Hill Country Galleria. The recent Canadian transplant celebrates the release of her new album “Rule 62” by playing Sun Radio’s seasonal Saturday Night Concert Series in the open-air park at Bee Cave’s central shopping destination. One of Austin’s brightest young talents in country music, Rose is a protege of Mavericks singer Raul Malo, who produced the new album and recruited an ace supporting cast of musicians who regularly play with the likes of Sheryl Crow and Marty Stuart. On the home front, she’s gathered a great backing band that plays regularly on Thursdays during the Continental Club’s happy hour. Hear them stretch out on a larger stage to cap a week of record-release events. Free (donations to Sun Radio accepted). 7 p.m. 12700 Hill Country Blvd., Bee Cave. sunradio.com. — P.B.

Monday: Pete Yorn at Parish. A standout at last year’s ACL Fest, Yorn arrives for a headlining show of his own between the fest’s two ACL weekends at Sixth Street’s premier venue. Yorn’s an interesting career study, with fine rock-pop singer-songwriter records that never quite made him a star yet attracted the likes of Scarlett Johansson for a duo recording project. He’s playing solo acoustic on this tour, with no opener. $30. 8 p.m. 214 E. Sixth St. parishaustin.com. — P.B.

Wednesday: Nobelity Project 4x4 Fundraiser at Gibson Guitar Showroom. A local organization that promotes education initiatives in Latin America and Kenya, the Nobelity Project is using proceeds from this year’s annual 4x4 event to build a kitchen at a rural school in Kenya. Local luminaries Bob Schneider, Gary P. Nunn, Trish & Darin Murphy, and the Warren Hood Trio will perform five songs each. The $50 ticket includes pre-show food and cocktails. 7 p.m. doors. 3601 S. Congress Ave., Suite G400. nobelity.org. — P.B.

Wednesday: Julian Lage & Chris Eldridge at Cactus Cafe. Adventurous jazz guitarist Lage (who’s worked with Nels Cline, Fred Hersch and others) teams with bluegrass picker Eldridge, whose resume includes the Punch Brothers and the Infamous Stringdusters, for this hot acoustic duo show. The pair recently released “Mount Royal,” their second collaborative album. $12-$15. 8:30 p.m. 2247 Guadalupe St. cactuscafe.org. — P.B.
